The Spain Park Jaguars scored 49 points but came up short in a classic match against Oxford by a final score of 56-49.
Led by star running back Otis Harris and backup quarterback Mason Duke, Spain Park put on arguably its best offensive showing of the year. Duke passed for 379 yards and four touchdowns. Harris had 118 total yards and two touchdowns.
Despite the Jaguars success, they were outmatched by an historic night from Oxford running back Roc Thomas. The future Auburn running back rushed for a whopping 414 yards and five touchdowns to lead the Yellow Jackets.
Amazingly, Thomas rushed for 300 yards and four touchdowns in the second half.
