Just a few days before Easter, Prince of Peace Catholic School’s youngest students, the 3-year-old pre-kindergartners, stopped by the PoP Church office to deliver the coins they had saved to donate to other children in need of food, clothes or toys. Throughout Lent, the children learned about helping others who are less fortunate from their teachers, Teresa Muldowney and Marie Gerson. The children collected the money in small purple boxes given to them by the church on Ash Wednesday, the beginning of Lent.
