Shades Mountain Christian School recognized Grandparents Day in September by celebrating students’ grandparents with a singing program followed by a reception. Students in kindergarten through third grade visited with their grandparents over doughnuts and drinks.
This is the second year SMCS has celebrated Grandparents Day, welcoming special grandparents from the Birmingham area and states as far away as Arizona.
