PIG IRON BBQ
This Friday, more than 50 participants will serve up barbecue, prizes and other goodies at the RV Park adjacent to the Hoover Met.This Friday, come out to the 17th annual Pig Iron Barbecue Challenge from 5-8 p.m. at the RV Park adjacent to the Hoover Met. The event will feature over 50 companies and organizations serving up barbecue, prizes and goodies. The event will also feature the Rabbit Branch band and a Flowers Bakery Kid Zone.
The event benefits Children's Harbor Family Center, which provides free resources to families who have seriously ill children.
The cost is $1,500 per cooking team and $10 per person at gate. For more information, call Jim Ray at 256-749-0069.
