Hoover Arts Alliance recently gave out scholarships to three students at Hoover and Spain Park High Schools.
SPHS’s winner was Diana Angeles, who will be attending Jefferson State Community College in the fall.
HHS had two winners. Elizabeth Keter will be attending Savannah College of Art and will study illustration. Jeremy Martin is a multidiscipline art student who is considering Montevallo and several other schools with strong art programs.
Linda Chastain of the Hoover Arts Alliance said the group is extremely proud of all three of the winners. The students were chosen by a group of board members.
“We’re tickled with all three of them,” she said. “The community is very supportive of our seniors. We’ve got a lot of talented young people, and they need all the help they can get.”
