More than 300 people united in the fight against breast cancer, while enjoying a night of charity gaming at the 11th Annual Pink Palace Casino Night. This annual fundraiser for the Breast Cancer Research Foundation of Alabama (BCRFA) took place on Saturday, March 16, at Soiree Event Gallery in Hoover.
Tameron Automotive Group once again served as the event’s presenting sponsor. By the end of the evening, $92,000 had been raised by the BCRFA to fund breast cancer research in Alabama.
Casino Night featured blackjack, poker, roulette, craps and slots for those wanting to try their hand at gaming. Others could participate in the silent auction to bid on vacation getaways, dining packages, jewelry and home furnishings. There was even a chance to win a $2,000 gift card from Diamonds Direct.
Guests enjoyed music from local band II da Maxx, food from Kathy G and drinks from United Johnson Brothers of Alabama, AlaBev and Coca-Cola.
The BCRFA takes a comprehensive approach to battling breast cancer through support of collaborative and innovative research to help diagnose, treat, prevent and eradicate the disease. All of the funds raised remain in Alabama, supporting local research, which in turn makes a national impact.
