On Thursday, July 9, police successfully found a 16-year-old Alabaster teenager who has been missing since July 4.
Alabaster Police Chief Curtis Rigney said Ally Wood was a runaway, and this is not the first time she has run away. She was suspected to be in the Hoover area after she left home on July 4 to watch fireworks with friends and did not return.
The police department posted on their Facebook page that Wood has returned home and is safe, but did not provide other details.
