Moviegoers who are eager for the release of “Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens” later this month can whet their appetite this weekend with free showings of the three original movies at the Hoover Library Theatre.
“Episode IV: A New Hope” is scheduled to be shown at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, followed by “Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back” at 1:30 p.m. and “Episode VI: Return of the Jedi” at 3:45 p.m.
All three movies will be shown for free in the 250-seat theater, including free refreshments. The three films originally were released in 1977, 1980 and 1983.
