Artists on the Bluff is located next to Bluff Park Elementary School.
Bluff Park residents will meet with city officials to discuss local issues Oct. 14 at 7 p.m.
The town hall style meeting is meant to give residents the opportunity to voice questions and concerns with Mayor Gary Ivey, the Hoover City Council members Brian Skelton, John Greene, Jack Natter, state representative Paul DeMarco, Hoover Police's Chief Nick Derzis and members of the Hoover City Board of Education.
The meeting will be held at the Artists on the Bluff cafeteria at 571 Park Ave. and will be moderated by Robin F. Schultz of BluffParkAL.org, the Bluff Park Neighborhood Web Site.
Topics of discussion include opening remarks by BluffParkAL.org representatives, recognition of several area residents and a neighborhood watch presentation by the Hoover Police Department. There will also be an opportunity for residents to participate ina question and answer session to address concerns such as crime, traffic and zoning.
