Bluff Park Community Church, which meets in the same building as Chapel in the Pines Presbyterian Church, is hosting the 2016 Bluff Park community Thanksgiving service for half a dozen congregations.
This year’s Bluff Park community Thanksgiving service is being hosted by Bluff Park Community Church this Sunday, Nov. 20, at 5 p.m.
The service is designed to be a joint Thanksgiving service for six Bluff Park churches, including Bluff Park Baptist, Bluff Park United Methodist, Bluff Park Community Church, Chapel in the Pines Presbyterian, St. Alban’s Episcopal and Shades Crest Baptist. However, the service is open to the public at large as well.
Bluff Park Community Church actually meets in the same place as Chapel in the Pines Presbyterian at 2269 Chapel Road. Chapel in the Pines meets on Sunday mornings, and Bluff Park Community Church meets on Sunday nights.
Tony Barber, the pastor at Bluff Park Baptist, is scheduled to be the speaker for this year’s joint Thanksgiving service at 5 p.m. Chapel in the Pines Presbyterian and Bluff Park Community Church are hosting a reception afterward at 6 p.m.
