The Poisoner’s Handbook - Documentary Screening

In the early 1900s, the average American medicine cabinet was a would-be poisoner's treasure chest. Deadly chemicals such as radium, thallium, and cyanide lurked in health tonics, medicines, and cleaning supplies. In New York City, two pioneering scientists turned forensic chemistry into a formidable science, sending impatient heirs, jilted lovers, and desperate debtors to the electric chair (2014, TV-PG, 120 minutes).
