Public meeting on Hoover bus cuts

An informational meeting for Hoover parents and concerned residents regarding Hoover City School's decision to cease bus operations for students beginning in the 2014-2015 school year will be held this week.

The meeting, presented by BluffParkAL.org in conjunction with Facebook Group "Save the Hoover Bus System," will be held Thursday, Nov. 7 at Artists on the Bluff in Bluff Park at 7 p.m.

The meeting will be moderated by Robin Schultz, BluffParkAL.org and speakers will include Trisha Crain of the Alabama School Connection (alabamaschoolconnection.org). 

All parents of Hoover City School children as well as residents are encouraged to attend to gain insight in preparation for the Hoover City Schools Board of Education decision to cease student bus service, including costs, traffic issues, and other important information, as well as preparing for the  Hoover Board of Education Regular meeting on Nov. 12.
