This event is free to attend and the target populations include Veterans, family members, health care providers, and community stakeholders working with and interested in Veterans.
The purpose of the Mental Health Summit is to enhance the mental health and well-being of Veterans and their family members through increased collaboration between the VA and the community. Our goal is to engage in active dialogue on how we as a community can address the mental healthcare needs of Veterans and their families.
The objectives/topics of this year’s discussion at the MH Summits will be focused on Veteran transition from service member to civilian, suicide prevention, and a whole health approach to Veteran well-being.
The Mental Health Summit will be held 9:00am-4:00pm on September 13, 2018 at the Hoover Public Library.
