Hair and makeup stylist Traci Fox is celebrating the grand reopening of T. Fox Salon as an exclusive Aveda salon Thursday, May 7.
The 5:30 p.m. ribbon-cutting will take place at 2080 Valleydale Road in Hoover in the Palladian Place shopping center near Rag Time Café. City and business chamber leaders are expected to attend, and the event is open to the public. Door prizes and complimentary mini spa sessions will be given.
Fox has more than 20 years in the beauty industry. Earlier this year, Fox partnered with Aveda and became an exclusive Aveda Salon. Its services include hair-styling, hair cuts, and customized hair coloring. T. Fox Salon also provides manicures, pedicures, facial waxing and make-up applications.
“Everything I do is in the spirit of excellence, that’s why I partnered with Aveda,” Fox said. “Pageants, weddings, proms, and other special occasions or simply wanting to look your best, that’s what we’re here for.”
The grand-reopening event culminates a soft-opening in which Fox has educated people about the benefits of Aveda products. She said she is blessed to have a staff of hair stylists who “share the same values of service as I do, people who have a servant’s heart.”
Her team includes stylist Brooke Qualls, Emily Jacks, Ciara Dismukes, and Tiffany Pruett.
“I love being able to mentor young people, it’s so rewarding,” Fox said.
She and her family moved to Hoover approximately eight years ago to take advantage of the school system and great community.
“We specialize in making people look as beautiful on the outside as they do on the inside,” Fox said. It’s really satisfying to have people come in stressed out and have them leave feeling good about themselves.”
