Coming off a gut-wrenching 24-21 loss at home to tough Miami Central of Florida on ESPN, the Hoover Buccaneers hit the road to Colquitt County, Ga., to pay a visit to former Hoover coach Rush Propst. Propst's Packers are ranked No. 1 in Georgia's Class 6A after winning their opener. The Bucs beat Colquitt County 24-10 last season.
Spain Park:
Spain Park's fourth-ranked Jags won their opener by the unfootball-like score of 5-3 over Austin and they travel to face Hueytown on Friday night at 7.
Shades Mountain Christian:
Shades Mountain Christian travels to Meek after beating Jacksonville Christian 42-34.
