Dalton Brown scores one of his two touchdowns for Spain Park.
Mickey Forrest passed for four touchdowns, leading Spain Park to a second half comeback and its first ever 6-0 start with a 28-17 win over Thompson.
Trailing 14-7 in the third quarter, Forrest launched a aerial assault in the second half and sealed the record-setting win for the Jaguars.
Forrest finished with 271 yards passing to compliment his four touchdown tosses. Two of those scoring passes were completed to star running back Otis Harris, who had 95 yards receiving and 77 yards rushing.
Wide receiver Dalton Brown had touchdown receptions of 57 and 28 yards.
Spain Park (6-0, 4-0) stiffened its defense after falling behind in the third quarter. Devin Pughsley led the way with a dominant performance. The senior defensive end sacked the quarterback four times and forced a fumble to hold Thompson to 17 points.
Next week, Spain Park takes the best start in school history on the road to Oak Mountain.
