Foxxy Fats will play at on Aug. 25.
A summer blues concert series, Live in the Gardens, will be held at Aldridge Gardens this summer.
On Aug. 22, Foxxy Fatts & Company will perform from 7-9 p.m.
With his trademark toothpick characteristically swaying like a metronome, Foxxy subtly yet conclusively guides his band.
The band mixed their own unique blend of rock, R & B, fusion jazz, swing and Motown and welcomes listeners of all ages and musical tastes.
The Gardens is encouraging people to bring a picnic dinner, tables and chairs, and refreshments to the evening concerts. A Full Moon BBQ truck will also be selling food.
All concerts will be held at Aldridge Gardens, 3520 Lorna Road. Admission for members is $10 and for non-members is $20. Advance tickets are available at aldridgegardens.com.
