A third and final suspect has been identified and charged in a theft which occurred at the Target on Grove Boulevard this July.
Target provided Hoover Police Department with video that showed two individuals reportedly stealing grills by loading them into their vehicle. Two male suspects from Hoover were identified thanks to tips from the community, and police asked for continued help from the community in identifying the female suspect.
The female suspect was identified as Hoover resident Gloria Renee Goodwin, 48. She was charged with property theft on Aug. 31, and her bond was set at $10,000. She bonded out of Jefferson County Jail several hours later and is awaiting the court date on the charge.
“Thank you to the citizens the came forward with information,” said Hoover PD officer Brian Hale. “Once again, this shows the partnership that exists between the citizens and their Hoover Police Department. In cases like this, we wouldn’t have been able to put the pieces together and could not have done this without their help.”
