The Hoover City Schools Foundation hopes to hire an executive director before the close of 2013.
According to Foundation President Khristi Driver, the organization is accepting applications through Oct. 17. The board is seeking candidates with nonprofit or not-for-profit experience who have a strong focus on development, major fundraising, marketing, public relations and event coordination.
Driver said the Director, working closely with the Foundation’s Executive Committee and Board of Directors, would lead efforts to generate revenue for annual operating expenses including operations, grants, and scholarships.
The Director would also collaborate with the school system, volunteers, sponsors, and community partners to enhance the Foundation’s standing in the community, raise awareness and increase revenues.
Driver said applicants with three or more years of relevant experience may apply by submitting a cover letter, resume, three references and salary expectations to Khristi Driver, Foundation President, at info@hooverfoundation.org.
The Hoover City Schools Foundation is the official 501(c)(3) non-profit supporting innovative education in all Hoover City schools through annual grants and scholarships.
