For generations, students have relied on tutors for extra help with their schoolwork.
But the need for tutors is greater than ever, according to William Mattison, owner and founder of GOAT Tutors in Homewood.
“Students at all levels are struggling to keep up,” he said.
Many students find it tough to succeed academically while balancing extracurricular activities and social media, Mattison said.
It’s increasingly difficult for parents to dedicate time to help their kids study, he said.
“It’s also a pain to find quality academic support you can trust,” Mattison said.
A middle school, high school and college teacher for 10 years, Mattison founded GOAT (Greatest of All Time) Tutors in 2023 to fill this need.
