A 20-year-old Hoover woman was found dead in a single-vehicle wreck on Alabama 150 early Saturday morning, Hoover police said.
The woman, whose identity had not been released as of 9 p.m. Sunday night, was traveling east on Alabama 150 when her 2001 Honda Accord left the road and struck a tree near the entrance to the Lake Cyrus subdivision, Hoover police Sgt. Keith Czeskleba said in a news release.
Police responded to the wreck at 12:18 a.m., and the woman, who was the only person in the car, was pronounced dead on the scene, Czeskleba said. Her name was being withheld pending notification of her family.
The crash was being investigated by Hoovdr police traffic investigators.
