Three Hoover student-athletes were recognized in the Hoover High School cafeteria on Wednesday, putting pen to paper with the school where they will continue their academic and athletic careers.

Noah Barron and Reid Chandler will attend Central Alabama Community College to play baseball, while Christin Dickinson will go to Gadsden State Community College and play basketball.

Here is what was said about each of them at the signing:

Christin Dickinson

“It’s been a pleasure to watch her mature as a basketball player and get this opportunity. But it’s been an even greater pleasure to watch her mature as a young lady. I feel like she’s one of mine almost. I’m really proud of her.” - Assistant AD Lisa Bridgman

Noah Barron

“When I first got here last year and got to see Noah play a little bit, his talent was undeniable. He’s had a great two years that I’ve been here. He’s turned into a leader.” - head baseball coach Adam Moseley

Reid Chandler

“Reid played at UAB’s fall league and the Central Alabama came to watch them play. The thing that stood out was not that Reid hit the ball well, because he did, or not that he fielded well, because he did, and not that he threw well, because he did. The thing that stood out is how Reid got on and off the field and how hard he played the game. He said, ‘I gotta have that guy.’” - Moseley
