Jailyn Maddox has added one more notch to her achievement belt for her basketball career at Hoover High School.

She was named to the Alabama Sportswriters Association All-State second team in the Class 7A Girls division.

The VCU signee averaged 16 points, five rebounds, and four assists in her senior season, and scored over 1,000 points in her career.

She was named to the North-South All-Star Game in 2015 and earlier this month played in the Alabama-Mississippi All-Star Game, where she won the Alabama MVP award, scoring a game-high 19 points in the game.
