Jags place 11th in Barry Mask Invitational

Spain Park wrestling took part in the Barry Mask Invitational at Wetumpka High School on Monday and Tuesday, and finished in 11th place overall.

In the 103-pound division, freshman Jack Rivers finished in third place with a technical fall, a major decision, and two technical decisions. Also coming in third was 220-pound sophomore Ryan Campbell. He recorded three pins.

Gavin Pudlick, a freshman competing in the 113-pound division, placed fourth individually with two pins and two decisions.

Mountain Brook placed first with 155.0 total points. Chelsea came in seventh place with 101.0 points.

The Jags will compete again at the Scott Rohrer Invitational at Hoover High School, taking place January 8-9.
