Hoover Sun Players of the Week

The Hoover Sun has named Bucs quarterback Jack Hutcheson and Spain Park's Mickey Forrest as Players of the Week for their performances against Northridge High School and Wetumpka High, respectively.

Hutcheson passed for three touchdowns and 195 yards, leading the Hoover Bucs to a 56 - 14 whipping of Northridge of Tuscaloosa.  He also contributed to the Bucs' ground game, adding 55 yards on just two carries.

Hoover puts its number one ranking on the line when it hosts the undefeated Vestavia Hills Rebels at the Hoover Met.

Forrest accounted for two-thirds of the Spain Park offense, passing for 177 yards and completing 60 percent of his passes as the field general for the Jaguars.

Next week, the Jaguars travel to Montgomery for a clash with traditional power Robert E. Lee High.
