Hoover-Spain Park football game to air on BRC 6.2

The Hoover at Spain Park football game, which was moved from a Friday night to Thursday, Oct. 2, in order to accommodate television, will be aired on WBRC’s alternate channel, BRC 6.2.

Due to contractual obligations, FOX 6, as it is commonly called, could not move its prime-time Fox programming for the Thursday night game of the week series. The high school broadcasts begin with Mountain Brook at Huntsville on Aug. 28. The channel will also carry this weekend's Champions Challenge games in Montgomery.

BRC 6.2, which carries Bounce TV programming, is available only through cable. On Charter systems, it is either at channel 192 or channel 81.
