Hoover lacrosse celebrating 10th anniversary

To celebrate ten years as a program, Hoover lacrosse is hosting an all-day jamboree event that will feature games throughout the day this Saturday, Feb. 20, at Hoover High School.

The games will begin at Buccaneer Stadium at 9:30 a.m., featuring a girls matchup between Hoover and Hewitt-Trussville. The concluding game will be an alumni game at 7:30 p.m., as the current Hoover team will face off against a team constructed of alumni and coaches.

In between and throughout the day, Huntsville, Mountain Brook, Homewood, and Vestavia Hills will play against various teams, including programs from Tennessee and Kentucky.

Among the alumni, the original Hoover lacrosse coaching staff of Chris Cos, Randy Nace, and Greg Wingo will be in attendance.
