Hoover Bucs face R.E. Lee Thursday in state semis

The Hoover Buccaneers boys basketball team will take on Robert E. Lee of Montgomery on Thursday in the Class 7A semifinals of the AHSAA State Finals.

The Bucs (25-9) and the Generals (29-3) are scheduled to tip off at 5:30 p.m. at Legacy Arena at the BJCC. All games at the BJCC have been delayed one hour due to expected poor road conditions in the morning,

The winner will face the victor of the Mountain Brook-Theodore game on Saturday at 7 p.m. for the 7A championship. Mountain Brook and Theodore play Thursday at 8:30 p.m.

The Thursday schedule was changed when Wednesday's schedule was postponed due to the threat of snow.
