Hoover Braves notch 15-18 division baseball championship

The Hoover Braves defeated the Pelham Cobras 12-1 in the championship game of the Hoover Parks and Recreation Department's Young Men's Baseball Association 15-18 age division on May 25.

It capped a 20-0 season for the Braves, which is made up of youngsters from around Hoover.

The team has posted a 48-11 record over three seasons. Jim Wallace, Billy Shepherd and Logan Deen coach the team.

Team members are Tristan Hendrix, Darrin Wang, Logan Miller, Jack Schneider, Tanner Winger, Seth Register, Cavan Metcalf, Shane Martin, Chase Elliott and Steven Edwards.
