Brittany Wagner to attend Hoover football game

A newfound star will be on hand for the rivalry football game between Hoover and Vestavia Hills on Friday night. Brittany Wagner, star of Netflix documentary series, "Last Chance U," will be at the Hoover Met to take in the action.

Wagner will be available from 5 p.m. through the conclusion of the game and will meet and greet fans.

"Last Chance U" tells the story of the East Mississippi Community College football team, as it traversed the 2015 football season. Wagner serves as the athletic academic counselor and serves each player on the team.

“I am super excited to be in Birmingham Friday night to see a Hoover football game in person," Wagner said. "I know Hoover football is the best of the best and I am excited to experience it.  The success and passion of this program from top to bottom is something inspiring and impressive. I am extremely appreciative of the opportunity to address the team and talk about my passion for helping Student Athletes succeed on and off the field.”
