Hoover schools foundation to hold Denim & Dining fundraiser Saturday (video)

The Hoover City Schools Foundation is having a casual fundraiser this Saturday night called Denim and Dining to raise money to help all Hoover schools.

The event will be held in the Michael Jordan Room at Hoover Metropolitan Stadium from 6:30 to 10 p.m.

Tickets are $50 and include Jim 'N Nick's barbecue, beer and wine. The event is for adults age 21 and older. Entertainment is scheduled to be provided by members of the First Edition jazz band from Hoover High School and Hoover High student and country singer Bailey Ingle.

There also will be a silent auction.

The Hoover City Schools Foundation is a nonprofit organization that provides extra funds to special initiatives in Hoover schools, designed to help bridge the gap between the limited funding available for public schools and the growing needs of school systems.
