Brock’s Gap celebrates pi

Dr. Montgomery’s math class at Brock’s Gap Intermediate School investigated pi on pi day, March 14. Caitlin Renda, a fifth grader, won a pi reciting contest for naming 64 digits in front of her classmates.

The class measured the circumference and diameter of many round items and used calculators to see if they could come up with 3.14. They also ate pie!
