Ross Bridge holds blood drive for young cancer patient

A blood drive, silent auction and book drive will be held in the Ross Bridge neighborhood on Saturday, July 18 from 10 a.m. - 3 p.m.

Ross Bridge resident Jessica Rosner organized the event on behalf of Faith Grier, a former Ross Bridge 2-year-old who was recently diagnosed with kidney cancer for the second time.

Rosner met Faith and her mother at a mother's day out class in Ross Bridge and decided to organize the event after Faith's family moved close to Vanderbilt to receive treatment.

"It's all for Faith," Rosner said.

The blood drive will be located on the gravel parking lot across from the clock tower at the main entrance of Ross Bridge.
