Miss Hoover USA crowned Miss Alabama USA

Madison Guthrie of Hoover was crowned Miss Alabama USA on Nov. 15 at the Montgomery Performing Arts Centre.

The 19-year-old advanced to the state-wide pageant after earning the title of Miss Hoover USA.

Guthrie is currently studying interior design at Shelton State Community College in Tuscaloosa, but plans on finishing her degree at The University of Alabama. Along with furthering her education, Guthrie has been working as a model and actress for the last two years.

Guthrie will compete for the title of Miss USA next summer.
