In early October, Hoover nonprofit organization Grace Klein Community opened its doors to host Natalie Spronk, a South African missionary serving at Kwathu Children’s Home. Since Spronk’s arrival in the United States, she has been able to share at 27 small groups, nine community events, seven school groups, three retirement homes and a recovery support group.

During Spronk’s time in the U.S., $14,000 has been raised for Kwathu Children’s Home. The children’s home purchased a van in December 2014, which is transporting the children to and from school daily and is also being used for administrative purposes. The children no longer have to walk 6 miles a day to school as a result of the financial blessing of a van.

Spronk was originally scheduled to depart the U.S. on Dec. 8; however, her stay has been extended until further notice. She will continue sharing her personal testimony to encourage others and create further awareness about the Kwathu Children’s Home.To hear Spronk share her testimony, please contact Kristine Sizemore at kristine@gracekleincommunity.com.
