Hoover resident to appear on new TLC bridal show

Hoover resident Kelsey Bardo Ezell will appear on this week's "Bride By Design" on TLC. 

The show is based out of Birmingham and focuses on local wedding dress designer Heidi Elnora. Elnora helps each bride design their dream wedding dress through several stages of creation. Her workshop is located at Pepper Place downtown. 

Ezell was born and raised in Hoover. She met her husband Andrew at SouthCrest Baptist Church where they were married on March 28.

She was a part of Heidi Elnora’s “Build-A-Bride” giveaway contest. Her friend surprised her by nominating her and her story in the contest for a chance to win a free dress. Ezell came in second place but received a call from Elnora letting her know that she loved her story and wanted to give her a free dress also. 

The show will air Friday, April 10 at 8:30 p.m. central time.
