Hoover Historical Society to host open house

An open house will be held on Saturday March 7, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. for the public to come by and visit or drop off items to be used for an upcoming historical book on Hoover's history. 

The Hoover Historical Society will produce a second book on the history of Hoover to celebrate its 50th anniversary as a city in 2017.  Historical items, books, scrapbooks of many local organizations and time cabinets with items from the past are displayed in the old school library.
