Bluff Park resident releases album

Bluff Park resident and musician James Harwell is releasing his newest CD titled "Time Street." To celebrate, Harwell will be playing at Dugger Mountain Music Hall in Jacksonville, Ala. on May 31 at 6 p.m. Dugger Mountain airs to over 80 millions homes on Alabama Public Television on Tuesday nights at 10 p.m. 

Harwell is a local real estate agent and also a brain cancer survivor. Harwell has played in various bands for most of his life. He formed a band at a young age and played throughout the Southeast during the 1980s and '90s. He began playing piano and moved on to guitar, bass, and harmonica. He released an album titled "Snow Flies White" in 2013. His music is inspired by personal experiences.
