New year in Hoover

We hope you had a wonderful holiday season and a Happy New Year. It’s a very exciting time with a new year starting and brand new opportunities everywhere.

In January, many of us make new year’s resolutions to exercise and get in better shape. If you are looking for a place to do just that, check out the Hoover Recreation Center with its state of the art equipment and facilities. The Hoover Senior Center offers a variety of exercise programs designed to meet your needs too. Our staff will strive to find a way at one of our facilities to work with you no matter what your age or fitness level.

Congratulations to our Hoover Bucs on winning the 7A High School Football State Championship. We are very proud of them for bringing this honor home. The City of Hoover has an incredible educational system as well as athletic programs. We are all very fortunate to live in a city with so many opportunities for our citizens in a safe and secure environment.
