Zoe's Kitchen locations throughout Birmingham and Tuscaloosa will be fundraising for the Rossell family on Tuesday, Dec. 22. Molly Rossell, a Homewood resident and former Hall-Kent Elementary teacher, passed away Dec. 12 after a battle with stage 4 melanoma, leaving behind a husband and three daughters.

Twenty percent of sales from 4-9 p.m. at Zoe's locations in SoHo, Crestline, Vestavia Hills, downtown Birmingham, the Summit, Patton Creek and Tuscaloosa will go to the Miracle for Molly fund to support the Rossell family.

“Members of our local team knew Molly and her family, and are very touched by their story. We immediately felt compelled to help, and are grateful to be able to deliver goodness to the Rossell family with this fundraiser,” Regional Operator Lindsey Miller said.

Prior to Rossell's passing, many in Homewood hung green ribbons in her honor and a group of children held a lemonade Stand for Giving to raise money for her.
