2015 year in preview: Whole Foods

In its fourth-quarter earnings report in November, Whole Foods Market announced that it recently signed leases for 12 new store locations across the country, one of which will be in Hoover.

David Ashford of Southpace Properties, representing the owner of Riverchase Village, confirmed that the Whole Foods will be located in Riverchase Village in the former Belle Foods space. Riverchase Village is located at the corner of U.S. 31 and Lorna Road. The area is being targeted for other retail redevelopment including the recently opened Newk’s Eatery.
