Third suspect in Shell Station robbery taken into custody

Joshlin Cobb, 18, was taken into custody June 24 and booked into Jefferson County Jail at 1:30 p.m. He faces robbery charges and $50,000 bond.

Cobb was charged along with two other teenagers in connection to the June 9 robbery of a Shell Station on John Hawkins Parkway. 

The first arrest warrant for Kalan Jamal Phillips, 16, was obtained June 11 and Phillips was arrested on June 12 at a residence off of 11th Avenue North in Bessemer. He was charged as an adult with first degree robbery, and bond was set at $100,000.

A 14-year-old male was arrested June 20 by Birmingham Police Department officers. A juvenile petition was signed June 22, charging the 14-year-old with first degree robbery.
