Robbery suspects taken into custody

On April 21, a male victim was robbed at gunpoint while walking in the 3500 block of Lorna Road. One of the suspects displayed a handgun while two others demanded his valuables. After taking an iPhone from the victim, the suspects fled northbound on Lorna Road in an unknown vehicle.

Detectives were able to identify these individuals and arrests warrants were obtained. Two of the suspects were arrested last week but the third has eluded officers until today. The third subject was taken into custody at 8:30 a.m. Tuesday, May 5. by U.S. Marshals. The three are charged as follows:

Altykeem Joshua McGhee, 19, Hoover

McGhee was taken into custody at his residence on Crowne Woods Drive on April 22 and transported to the Jefferson County Jail

Corey Tanner Williams, 16, Vestavia Hills

Corey Williams was taken into custody by Irondale Police on April 28 and transported to the Jefferson County Jail.

Christopher Tighe Williams, 18, Vestavia Hills

Tighe Williams was taken into custody this morning by the U.S. Marshals Gulf Coast Regional Fugitive Task Force. He was arrested without incident at a residence in the 4600 block of Hillman Drive Southwest in Birmingham. He will be transferred from the Hoover City Jail to the Jefferson County Jail later today.
