Hoover police are continuing their search for the suspect who shot and killed 25-year-old Xavier Beasley.

Crime Stoppers of Metro Alabama and Hoover PD are offering a $10,000 reward for information that leads to the identification and arrest of the person or people responsible for Beasley's murder.

Gov. Robert Bentley's office is also offering $5,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of a suspect or suspects. The U.S. Marshals Service is also offering a $5,000 reward for information leading to a warrant and an arrest.

Beasley was shot and killed when leaving work on Sept. 5. Police have reported that Beasley was not involved in any drug or gang-related activities. A press conference was held on Sept. 25 to ask the community for their help.

“If someone takes someone else’s life, they generally tell someone,” said Capt. Gregg Rector at the press conference. “We know there’s someone out there who knows something about this crime.”
