New Freedom Fest event announced

A new July 4 "Freedom Fest" event was announced at Monday's Hoover City Council meeting.

The event will be held at the Hoover Met and will be free. It will feature music by Three On A String, a car show, a play area for children, a 20-minute fireworks display and much more.

The City is currently working to line up additional entertainers and performers for the event.
