Hoover Police prostitution sting nets five arrests

On April 21,  Hoover police officers conducted an undercover operation in the 2900 block of John Hawkins Parkway.

The five women arrested during the Tuesday detail and all have been charged with prostitution. They were booked into the Hoover City Jail and remain there today, April 22, on bonds of $1,000 each. 

Prostitution activity continues to produce complaints and is directly linked to other crimes, including illegal drugs, thefts, burglaries, robberies and rapes, according to a release. The Hoover Police department will continue to focus on any and all areas that are frequented by prostitutes. 

The five individuals arrested are charged as follows: 

Leah Nicole Donahoo, 27​​, Birmingham

• Prostitution: $1,000 bond 

Carrie Grace Wright ​,​ 31, ​Birmingham

• Prostitution​: ​​​​​​$1,000 bond 

Jennifer Michelle Love, ​​36, ​Anniston 

• Prostitution​​​​​​: $1,000 bond 

• Unlawful Possession Of Drug Paraphernalia​​​: 1,000 bond 

Cassandra Elizabeth Parks ​, ​27, ​Birmingham 

• Prostitution​​​​​​​: $1,000 bond

Samantha Lynn Gallups, ​​27, Bessemer

• Prostitution​​​​​​​: $1,000 bond
