Hoover police need help identifying theft suspect

Hoover police are looking for information regarding a theft suspect, according to a Hoover Police Department Facebook post.

A woman reported her wallet was stolen from her purse at the Publix on Doug Baker Boulevard on May 23. There is no vehicle information for the suspect, but security photos have been released by Homewood PD.

Anyone with information should contact Hoover Detective James Hester at 444-7580. Anonymous tips can be submitted on the Hoover PD website under the “Submit a Tip” section or by calling Crime Stoppers of Metro Alabama at 254-7777.
