The Hoover Police Department is asking for the public’s help in identifying two individuals who are wanted for questioning in connection to a third degree property theft.

On July 3, a white male and white female were driving a white Ford F-150 pickup truck and parked at the rear loading deck of the Target on Grove Boulevard, according to an HPD Facebook post. The pair reportedly put two gas grills into their truck without paying and left the area. The total value of the grills was $559.98, according to the report.

The pickup appears to have a spare tire on the front passenger’s side of the vehicle and damage to the right, front quarter panel. Police have shared a video of the individuals moving the grills on the department’s Facebook page.

Anyone with information about the suspects can contact Hoover PD Detective Sgt. Reggie Parker at 739-7448 or submit an anonymous tip through Crime Stoppers of Metro Alabama at 254-7777. Anonymous tips can also be submitted at hooverpd.com/submit-a-tip.php.
