Crest Cadillac Golf Classic rescheduled for May 4

The Hoover-Metro Kiwanis Club welcomes players to the 23rd annual Crest Cadillac Golf Classic on Monday, May 4 at the Riverchase Country Club.

As a player you will receive round of 18 holes including green fees and cart fee, gift bag, complimentary lunch, complimentary drinks during the tournament, eligibility for tournament prizes for "Closets to the Pin, "Hole in One" and "Longest Drive."

Since the inaugural event in 1996, the tournament has netted over $380,000 for charities. The proceeds from the tournament will be distributed by the Hoover-Metro Kiwanis Club. SafeHouse of Shelby County, a full-service organization for victims of sexual and domestic violence, will receive 50 percent of the proceeds and divide the remaining proceeds among charities such as Hope for Autumn Foundation Crawfish Boil, Adoptive Aquatics, Restoration Academy, Restoration Academy, Camp Smile-A-Mile and Gateway.

The Hoover Metro Kiwanis Club meets Friday mornings from 7-8 a.m. at The Egg & I in Hoover.
