Hoover High marching band wins JSU Contest of Champions

The Hoover High School Marching Band was named “Grand Champions’ at the Jacksonville State University Contest of Champions this past Saturday.

The Bucs earned the highest score of more than 30 high school bands that came from three states for the competition.

Second place went to Hillgrove High School, while Grissom High School captured the third highest score.

Hoover also won the High Visual Award, and the Hoover High drumline placed second in its division.
